Sub-Inventory Transaction

 Sub-Inventory Transaction

·        We use the Subinventory Transfer window to move material from one subinventory to another.
·        If you specify the same subinventory as the From and To Subinventory, you can move material between locators within a subinventory.
·        We perform Sub-Inv transaction within the Organization from one sub inv to another sub inv.
·        To perform sub inv transaction we should need at least two sub inv in the same organization

To create a Sub-inv, go to

Inventory -> Setup -> Organization -> Sub inventories

Save it and Perform Sub-Inv transaction

Go to

Inventory -> Transactions -> Sub-inv Transfer

Select type as Sub Inv Transfer

 

Here give the item, Source and Destination sub-inv and then give how much qty u want to transfer and save it

 

Now check the On-Hand Qty

Here enable the Detailed Check box, to see where item is exactly located

Now we can see item is located in two Sub-inv within the Organization

Now we’ll check the Material Transaction
